Restoration of Root Filled Teeth - Improving the Success

Restoration of Root Filled Teeth - Improving the Success
This hands-on course is designed for Dentists.

Course Overview

Management of endodontically treated teeth is one of the basic skills that a general dentist must develop over their life career.  In order to be able to restore endodontically treated teeth predictably the dentist needs to understand the basic science behind the nature of root filled teeth and how they can be restored. Are root filled teeth different from vital teeth? Do they behave differently? How can we use the existing evidence in restoring them predictably?

  • Understand the behaviour of root filled teeth
  • Determine the restorability of root filled teeth
  • Understand the dilemma behind the use of posts and what type to use
  • Know the impact of the location of the tooth within the arch on how it should be restored
