Dr Norah Ayad and Dr Jay Hsing (current VIVA examiners) provide case examples as a working platform of what to expect in a VIVA examination. They will cover the main topic areas including treatment planning sequence, medical histories and medications and lifestyle factors.
These principles will then be applied to work through mock cases in a similar format to a VIVA examination. The cases will work through identifying risk factors and modifying factors for oral disease, diagnostics, treatment planning options and prognosis.
