Expanding our reach across all dental sectors and geographic regions in Queensland.

In April 2023, Council endorsed ADAQ’s strategic plan which sets out our goals, aims, objectives and strategic priorities. ADAQ’s strategic priorities represent the objectives your Council view to be of most importance to members and where time and resources are therefore focussed.

One of ADAQ’s strategic priorities is to; expand our reach across all dental sectors and geographic regions in Queensland.

So how do we achieve this? By seeking to understand the diverse needs of dental professionals across the state and deliver meaningful services that help them deliver high quality care to their patients and communities. We have identified the core components to be –

  • Annual events with exclusive access to ADAQ staff in regional and rural areas across the state and continuing professional development delivered by quality speakers and offering meaningful education which is fit for purpose.
  • Dedicated regional and rural resources including the regional webpage which brings material relevant to regional and rural practitioners and their dental teams conveniently together in one place
  • Regional and rural practitioner recognition awards.

Our inaugural regional event of 2024 sees ADAQ travel to Emerald on Friday 24 May where members and their dental teams will have access to continuing professional development including infection control fundamentals, managing difficult patient behaviour and more. If you’re a practitioner in Central Queensland who struggles to find professional development for you and your dental team, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
